Simple Ways To Show Your Support for the TNBC Foundation's mission

PurpleLab

Double-duty beauty brand PurpleLab has partnered with the TNBC Foundation® to create a special lip gloss, SWAC ("Sealed With a Cure") designed to boost "beauty, health, and confidence" while raising money for triple negative breast cancer research. SWAC comes in a gorgeous pink shade with subtle flecks of real gold. The color is called Nancy - named after the incredible woman who inspired the TNBC Foundation® - and it comes with a note telling Nancy's personal story. Purple Lab will donate 20% of the net proceeds to the TNBC Foundation. Learn more about Purple Lab at www.purplelabnyc.com. SWAC is available at b-glowing for $18.50. Click here to purchase.

Get Your Community Involved

Patti Mioli of Cresskill, New Jersey spearheaded a simple but highly successful fundraiser at her children's elementary school. With the permission and support of the school's administration, the P.T.A. sent out an email to all parents announcing that October 3rd was Hat Day. For a $1 donation to the TNBC Foundation, students would be allowed to wear their favorite hat in school all day! By the end of the day on October 3rd, the school collected $507 to support the foundation's mission!

We'd like to thank Patti, the Bryan School P.T.A., Phyllis Weinberger, the Bryan School administration and staff, and all the generous families who participated.

Those of you who have visited the TNBC Events section of our website may be familiar with Kurt and Cindy Nygaard, owners of Downtown 140 - a Ohio restaurant who is hosting a fundraiser to benefit the TNBC Foundation® this October. As if their tremendous efforts on our behalf were not enough, the Nygaards have come up with yet another opportunity to help us raise awareness and funds. Cindy has been selling a beautiful silver and freshwater pink pearl pendant necklace at her boutique to help promote awareness in her local community. The necklace is engraved with the powerful words "Believe For a Cure". The Nygaards have been donating $20 from the sale of each necklace to the TNBC Foundation.

Cindy's boutique, Vignettes, is currently taking phone orders for the Believe in a Cure Necklace. Call (330) 342-7017.
